Marc Houalla

Marc Houalla (born February 10, 1961 in Rueil-Malmaison , France) is a French civil servant (fonction publique) and holder of the French Order of Merit Ordre national du Mérite .

biography

Marc Houlla began his studies at ENAC (IENAC L82) and graduated ( MBA ) from HEC Paris . From 1985 he worked as an engineer in the Civil Aviation Department of Canada . In 1987 he became a project manager for air traffic control in Paris. In 1992 he became head of the technical and financial departments of the Service d'exploitation de la formation aeronautique in Paris and Muret. During the same period he was Professor of Management Control at ESCP Europe and HEC Paris . In 1996 he joined SOFREAVIA (now Egis Avia) as an economic and financial advisor. Two years later he returned to DGAC as Director of Operations in Toulouse. From 2003 to 2006 he was director of Marseille Airport . In 2006 he became director of SEFA before being appointed director (CEO) of École nationale de l'aviation civile on November 27, 2008 .

He held this position until October 2017. In November 2017 he was appointed CEO of Paris-Orly Airport . He held this position until February 2018. In February 2018 he was appointed CEO of Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport .

Honors

In September 2013 Marc Houalla was awarded the French Order of Merit Ordre national du Mérite in the class Chevalier (knight).
