Olivier IV of Rougé

Olivier IV of Rougé (* before 1233; † April 1304 ) was a Breton knight . He was lord of Rougé , Derval , La Chapelle-Glain , Le Bouays and Le Theil .

He was the son of Bonabes II of Rougé and Alix of Châteaubriant . It comes from the old Breton noble family von Rougé , which still exists today.

He took 1248 under King Louis IX. , the saint, took part in the Sixth Crusade into Egypt.

Through his marriage to Agnès von Derval, Olivier became lord of Derval in 1275 and inherited the coat of arms and title of the House of Derval.

In 1285 he was one of the twelve Breton knights that King Philip III. of France on his Aragonese crusade against Peter III. accompanied by Aragon .
