Olivier Irabaruta (born August 25, 1990 in Muramvya , Burundi) is a Burundian athlete .

The 1.71 meter tall Irabaruta, who weighed 61 kg in competition in 2012, took part in the 2009 World Cross Country Championships in Amman . As part of the events there, he ran to 22nd place in 24:35 minutes. He also finished fifth over 5,000 meters and sixth over 10,000 meters at the 2012 African Championships .

He was in the six-man squad for the Burundian team for the 2012 Summer Olympics . In London he started over the 5,000 meter run, finished 14th in his prelim with a time of 13: 46.25 minutes and was eliminated. This meant 30th place in the final ranking.

His personal best on the 5,000-meter course is 13: 28.80 minutes. He set this stamp on July 23, 2011 at the 5th Summer Military World Games in Rio de Janeiro . The 28: 17.77 minutes run on June 28, 2012 at the African Championships in Porto-Novo are his best time on the 10,000-meter course .
