The two-story brick building was erected in 1887.

The six-axis façade facing the street, like the wide side facing the Schill facilities with the Schill monument, is enlivened by patterns of dark bricks on a red background. The three outer axes are designed as a flat template. A gable crowns one of the templates facing the street; the top of the gable above the south entrance has not been preserved.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 614.

The building belonged to Sarnowstrasse until this section was renamed . It was built on March 19, 1887 as a warm bath ; the construction cost 49,000 Reichsmarks .
