The Olson Peaks are two neighboring and up to 1,335 m high mountains on the Hillary coast of the Antarctic Ross Dependency . They rise 6 km west of Cape Lankester on the northern flank of the Bertoglio Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped them using tellurometer surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1965 after Gary D. Olson of the United States Army , who worked between 1961 and 1962 was involved in the tellurometer measurements.
