The Olympic Stadium is located in the Upper Swabian town of Laupheim . The stadium, built in 1927, is named after the sports club FV Olympia Laupheim .
The stadium holds around 4,000 spectators, the covered main stand, which was built in 1966, has 800 seats, the rest of the stadium boundary consists of tubular steel railings. A small gym is housed under the grandstand. The club restaurant and the office are also located at the stadium.
The attendance record was set on August 24, 2004, when 11,000 spectators found space in the stadium using two tubular steel stands when FV Olympia Laupheim, then a five-class association league, defeated FC Bayern Munich 2-0 in a friendly match.
With the SBC-Cup / Easter tournament, a strong international youth tournament has been held in the stadium once a year since 1964. a. European, South American and Asian top youth teams have already been drawn to Laupheim.
