The 1500 meter race in men's speed skating at the 1928 Winter Olympics took place on February 14, 1928. However, it could not be terminated properly due to poor weather conditions. The high temperatures caused by the onset of a foehn and heavy rainfall caused the ice to melt. The competition had to be canceled after the fifth pairing. So no medals were awarded.
