Omar Gutiérrez
Omar Gutiérrez (born January 21, 1948 in San José de Mayo , Uruguay ; † September 12, 2018 there ) was a Uruguayan radio and television reporter.
He began his career with Radio San José in 1968. He later presented various programs on stations in Montevideo . In 1980 he led El tren de noche at CX 20 Radio Montecarlo and from 1984 to 1985 he presented El búho at CX 30 Radio Nacional . He later worked for CX 14 Radio El Espectador in Aire libre and Sin corbata as well as CX 18 Radio Sport . He also performed De igual a igual on Canal 4 and De par en par on CX 12 Radio Oriental until at least 2003 . In 2001 he received the Legión del Libro awarded by the Cámara Uruguaya del Libro .
