Omar Nazar (born November 1, 1978 ) is an Afghan football player . He made his debut for the Afghan national team in 2003 .

Career

The midfielder played for one year with Hamburg's national division VfL Lohbrügge . He then moved to SC Condor Hamburg . Five months later he moved to HSV Barmbek-Uhlenhorst . At these clubs, however, he could not prevail, so he went back to VfL Lohbrügge.

Nazar played four games for the Afghan national soccer team in 2003. He was part of the Afghan squad at the 2003 South Asian Cup . In the opening game of the tournament for the Afghan national team, the first international game of the selection since 1984, on January 10 of that year against Sri Lanka , he was used. He played all three games in the group stage, at the end of which the national selection was eliminated from the competition without points or goalless.
