The VfL Lohbrügge (full club name: VfL Lohbrügge von 1892 eV ) is a popular sports club from the Hamburg district of Lohbrügge . The first men's soccer team is currently playing in the Hamburg-Hansa regional league .

Soccer

The first men's team achieved promotion to the top amateur division of the Hamburg Football Association in 1993, 2002 and 2009 . Between 1993 and 1997 and between 2002 and 2004, the club played a total of 6 seasons in the Hamburg Association . The greatest success in the club's history was also participation in the Hamburg Oberliga in the 2009/10 season. The club plays its home games on the Wilhelm Lindemann sports field at the Binnenfeldredder . Former football professionals Marcus Marin and Norbert Meier played for VfL Lohbrügge when they were young.
