Omer Shapira (born September 9, 1994 ) is an Israeli racing cyclist who is active in road cycling and mountain biking .

Athletic career

Omer Shapira has been active in international competitive cycling since 2014. In 2014 she was third and in 2015 second in the Israeli road championships. In 2015 she won the national championship title in the mountain bike marathon . In 2016 she finished third in both the national championship road race and the individual time trial .

In 2017, 2018 and 2019 Shapira became the Israeli road champion. In 2017 she was eighth at the Giro del Trentino Alto Adige , and seventh at Gracia Orlová in 2018 . The UCI Road World Championships in 2018 she was in the road race 49th and 27th in the time trial in the year she was again Israeli road champion and won with her team Canyon // SRAM Racing the team time trial of the Giro d'Italia Femminile .

Private

Omer Shapira is in a relationship with the Israeli racing cyclist Guy Sagiv . The couple lives in Spain Girona (as of 2019).
