On-Site Operations Coordination Center

An on-site Operations Coordination Center ( OSOCC , German  onsite deployment coordination center ) is a coordinating body that after a disaster or a humanitarian crisis by OCHA of the United Nations is established. The task of this management office is to coordinate the work of the organizations and auxiliary staff working on site. These include the UNICEF children's aid organization , the UNEP environmental program , the WFP world food program , the UNHCR refugee agency , the UNDP development program , the International Committee of the Red Cross , but also German organizations such as the Technical Aid Organization .
