action

First season

The four friends Monse, Cesar, Ruben "Ruby" and Jamal are about to start their first day at high school. Monse spends the summer separated from her friends in a writing camp and when she returns everything is different: Ruby and Jamal no longer speak to Cesar, whose brother Oscar, leader of the local "Santos", has been released from prison. Ruby and Jamal don't want to tell Monse the background at first, but eventually tell her that Cesar claims to have slept with Monse and doesn't want to take it back. Only later it turns out that it is the truth. Monse doesn't want to lose her clique, but rather bring them back together. Another problem is that Cesar is now a member of the Santos. Meanwhile, Ruby has other worries: After his brother Mario has gone to college, he is happy to have his own room, but at first he has to share it with his grandmother (Abuela) and later with the daughter of a befriended family, Olivia. He develops romantic feelings for Olivia, who, however, has fallen in love with Cesar and eventually gets together with him. Jamal, however, sets out to find the mystery of the money from the scooter world heist. Events come thick and fast when Cesar Latrelle, a member of the warring "Prophets", is supposed to kill, but cannot. While Jamal actually finds the Rollerworld money surfaced Latrelle on the Quinceañera of Olivia and gives off a shot. Olivia and Ruby are both hit. However, it is not clear whether they will survive.

Second season

The friends must overcome the painful death of Olivia and Ruby suffers from PTSD . Cesar was kicked out by the "Santos" for not killing Latrelle. Jamal tells the others about the money and is harassed by garden gnomes, whereupon they want to launder the money to get Cesar off the street. Ruby's grandmother comes to their aid. Monse, on the other hand, decides to move to Brentwood to live with her mother, who she left when she was very young. Her relationship with Cesar suffers as a result, whereupon he gives her an ultimatum. The two separate. Monse finds out that her mother has her father portrayed as a thug, which she cannot sit on. She returns home. Ruby's brother Mario visits his family and brings his pregnant girlfriend Amber with him. When her water bursts and she has the child, it turns out that Mario is not the father. Latrelle reappears. Cesar, his friends and Spooky manage to bring the "Prophets" to prison with real RollerWorld money. Latrelle is then arrested and held responsible for the murder of Olivia. In the last scene the four friends are kidnapped.

Third season

The four friends find each other with Cuchillos, the leader of the Santos. She asks them to find Lil Ricky, as the four of them had managed to find the RollerWorld money and get the "Prophets" out of the way. However, they cannot find the real Lil Ricky. Surprisingly, Cesar and Oscar's father Ray turns up at the same time, who seeks contact with his sons, as does another gang, the "19", who want to dispute the Santos for their territory. Oscar want to help the kids and negotiate with the "19" with the help of Cuchillos, but Oscar lures them into a trap and leaves the "19". When the four friends start looking for Oscar, they find the body of Cuchillos, who was killed by the "19", instead of him. The two gangs make peace and Monse goes to boarding school.

In the final scene we see Monse hanging out with her new friends while Jamal appears to be part of the football team. He apparently has no contact with his best friend Ruby, who is in a relationship with Yasmine. While Oscar is happily married and his wife is expecting a child, it seems that Cesar is the new leader of the "Santos".
