Matthias Waskow

Matthias Waskow (born September 3, 1968 in Hamburg ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Labor Court .

Live and act

After studying law at the University of Hamburg and finally completing his legal training in Hamburg in 1997, Waskow initially worked as a lawyer. He then worked from 2000 as a legal advisor at Heinrich Bauer Verlag . In December 2002 Waskow joined the higher justice service of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and was initially employed at the Hamburg Labor Court . This was followed by a position at the Hamburg Regional Labor Court and, from 2008 to 2010, a secondment to the Federal Labor Court .

In March 2015 Waskow was elected judge at the Federal Labor Court. There he was assigned to the Seventh Senate, which was primarily responsible for formal works constitution law and for fixed-term contracts .
