One stop shopping

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The concept of one-stop shopping is based on an agglomeration of several retail or service companies from complementary industries. This enables customers to satisfy several complementary needs at one point of contact ( one stop).

In particular, the convenience centers near residential areas are based on this principle: in addition to a grocery discounter (as a so-called magnet ), fresh markets (e.g. butcher's shop , greengrocer's ) and service providers (e.g. shoe repair, cleaning) are located.
