One King Street West (also known as 1 King West ) is a 176-meter-tall residential and hotel building in the Financial District of Toronto , Ontario , Canada . The skyscraper was built on top of an existing historic building, the Dominion Bank Building, which was completed in 1914. The Dominion Bank Building was restored and attached to the hotel building. It houses the hotel lobby, theater and restaurant and some hotel rooms on the upper floors of the historic building. However, most of the 500 suites are located in the hotel's high-rise, next to the condominiums.

The historic building served as the headquarters of Toronto-Dominion Bank until it moved into a new building in the city. The reception hall combines the historic classic flair with today's modern. The hotel has a gym, swimming pool and wellness area.
