Friedrich von Alberti Prize
The Friedrich von Alberti Prize of the Paleontological Society and the Hohenloher Muschelkalkwerke is awarded alternately to amateur and specialist paleontologists for outstanding achievements in paleontology . It is named after Friedrich von Alberti and endowed with 10,000 euros (as of 2012). The prize is usually awarded at a ceremony in Ingelfingen in November and was initially awarded annually (from 1998), and every two years since 2002.
