Manfred Kutscher
Manfred Kutscher (* 1943 ) is a German fossil collector and private paleontologist with a focus on collecting in the Chalk of Rügen (especially echinoderms).
Kutscher is a full-time chemical engineer and lives in Sassnitz . In 2005 he founded the Gummanz chalk museum on Rügen with funds from the European Regional Development Fund .
In 2008 he received the Friedrich von Alberti Prize and in 2000 the Zittel Medal .
In 2017 Manfred Kutscher received the badge of honor of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for special services in honorary office.
