aims

The aim of the initiative is to create a place of meeting and exchange for people with and without a refugee experience. Adult women and men meet and interact through sport, regardless of language, origin or religion. In this way friendships and networks are formed for mutual support in finding accommodation and work as well as in improving language skills.

In addition to the weekly basketball training, various common leisure activities and cultural activities take place. In addition, One World Basketball plays with a mixed team in the Freizeit Basketball Liga (FBL Berlin) in order to bring more people into contact with the topic of flight and migration.
