Ongaing (Ohngaing) is a place in Myanmar's Mandalay region . It is located in the Mogok Valley (Mogok Township, Pyinoolwin District ).
geology
The rare mineral painite was first discovered in Ongaing in the 1950s , of which only two other sites are known today. There is also the rare Kornerupine and numerous other minerals.
