The Ontario Herpetofaunal Summary ( OHS ) is a database or atlas for the amphibians and reptiles of the southern Canadian province of Ontario .
The project for their systematic observation and data collection - carried out by volunteers - started in 1984 . At the end of each season, the data is sent to the OHS database . Recently, this has been expanded to include historical animal populations through research projects at several Canadian universities.
