The Opština Gora was from 1991 to 1999 a large Serbian municipality in the Okrug Prizren in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija . The (municipality) area is now on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, which was proclaimed in 2008 . Since Serbia neither recognizes the independence of Kosovo nor the reorganization of the area by UNMIK , it continues to set up a local government.

history

The municipality was restructured by UNMIK and merged with the northern part of Opoja to form the new municipality of Dragash .
