op5 Monitor is a software for network management solutions, based on the open source project Nagios , which is further developed and supported by the company op5 Ab. op5 Monitor shows the status and performance of the IT network environment to be monitored and has an integrated log server, the logger. The company offers software for network monitoring and troubleshooting in IT environments. Information from hardware, software, virtual and / or cloud-based services is collected and evaluated.

history

Op5 Ab was founded in 2004 by Jan Josephson and Fredrik Åkerström in Stockholm , Sweden. It was designed to develop an IT monitoring solution for large IT environments.

Management packs

Management packs are modules of predefined monitoring metrics. Users can create their own management packs and thus set their own standard for how a specific device in the network should be monitored.
