Operation Vico

Operation Vico was an Interpol operation aimed at an abuser nicknamed "Vico". He was charged with crimes against children and sex crimes. Forensic scientists of the German Federal Criminal succeeded while restoring digital images with the Swirl - effect had been alienated, a distortion filter.

On October 8, 2007, Interpol published images showing the perpetrator who sexually abused children in 200 images . This step was the start of the operation. Five sources independently named a Canadian English teacher born in 1975 as a suspect. Interpol later confirmed that the aforementioned was a possible perpetrator and is believed to be in Thailand . An arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect in Thailand . The man was arrested on October 19, 2007 and in 2008 sentenced to several years in prison.
