Operational radar

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The operational radar is an evaluation method within the scope of the concept of indexed operational performance measurement . The Operative Rader represents several operational ranks of a company in one evaluation method. In the indexed operational performance measurement, the Operative Radar is used to make business areas universally comparable and to measure value potentials and value gaps independently of external effects.

example

The figure shows the operational radar. The operational ranks of several key figures for a company or business area are shown in orange. In addition to the median (also known as the operating index ) of the comparable companies as a blue line, the first and third quartile limits (limits of the blue shading) are also entered in the graph . The blue areas contain the key figures for 50% of all comparative rsp. Peer company.

Bonus targets based on the operational radar

Bonus targets can be set using the operational radar in order to set bonus targets for functional units independently of external influences and to measure them in a universally comparable manner (see performance-based compensation ). An example of indexed bonus targets is the bonus index, which is published annually by the Zurich financial research company Obermatt for the German HDAX companies and the Swiss SMI and SPI companies.
