OptiY is a design environment that provides modern optimization strategies and state-of-the-art probabilistic algorithms for uncertainty and sensitivity analysis , robustness evaluation , reliability analysis , data mining , service life calculation and meta-modeling.
history
The predecessor of OptiY is the USAN program package, which was developed at the Technical University of Dresden for the modeling, simulation and optimization of mechatronic systems. OptiY GmbH was founded in 2006 to start commercializing the OptiY software.
product
OptiY is an open and multidisciplinary design environment that has general and direct interfaces to many CAD / CAE software packages and in-house programs. There is also a complex API interface with a user-defined element. This allows the user to integrate external programs himself for easy use. Inserting external simulation systems is very easy with the graphical workflow editor. It is possible to interact with different model classes (e.g. for network analogies , finite element method , rigid body dynamics) but also with material test stands (e.g. controller optimization for drive systems).
