Orange River Colony
The Orange River Colony (English: Orange River Colony ) was a British colony , which at the end of the Second Boer War emerged after the Orange Free State in 1900 occupied and 1902 annexed was. The capital of the colony was Bloemfontein . In 1910 the colony was incorporated into the South African Union as the Province of Orange Free State .
With the Peace of Vereeniging the colony got its civil administration. Abraham Fischer served as Prime Minister until 1910 .
