The Orca Sound ( English for killer whale sund ; Polish Cieśnina Orki ) is a strait in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It runs between the False Round Point of King George Island and the northern offshore island of Ridley Island .
Polish scientists named them in 1984.
