The orchestra Holger Mück was founded in 2004 by the director of the same name and consists of musicians from northern Bavaria and southern Thuringia who have made it their business to cultivate Egerland and Bohemian wind music and to add new compositions and arrangements that are specially tailored to the orchestra enrich. Modern arrangements, solo contributions and musical melodies are also part of the repertoire of the musicians around Holger Mück .

In 2008, the orchestra was voted third in the ensemble category when searching for “Germany's best wind player” on the “Blasmusik.de” Internet portal.

Holger Mück's and his musicians' recordings are played on various radio programs in Germany and abroad. In addition to experienced instrumentalists, the ensemble also includes a professional singing duo. “Passionate brass music from Egerland” - that is the motto of Holger Mück and his Egerland musicians.
