Orchid is an American doom metal band from San Francisco , California that was formed in 2007.

history

The band was formed in 2007. After developing the first songs, a first EP was released in 2009 with Through the Devil's Doorway . Shortly after the release, work on the debut album Capricorn began . The album was released in 2011 via The Church Within Records . The second album The Mouths of Madness was released on April 26, 2013 via Nuclear Blast .

style

The band plays classic Doom Metal, which is comparable to the music of Black Sabbath from the 1970s.
