Order of Pour mes Amis

The order Pour mes Amis was founded in 1809 by Prince Carl zu Isenburg , who had become sovereign of the Principality of Isenburg through the Rhine Confederation , as a house and merit order in one class.

The medal is an eight-pointed, gold-rimmed Maltese cross with gold balls on the cross tips. The cross arms are enameled blue. In the medallion, which  is enclosed by a white enamelled ring with the inscription A SES AMIS 1809 ((his friends 1809)), the gold initial C(Carl) on a red enamelled background . On the back of the circlet the inscription ELLE SOUTIENT L'AMITIE  ((the anchor supports friendship)) and in the middle, also on a red enameled background, a golden anchor .

The medal was worn on a pigeon blue ribbon with yellow stripes on the left side of the chest.
