Order of Persistence

The Order of Persistence was established as an order of knights on July 21, 1621 after the lost battle in Bohemia on November 8, 1620. The founder was Duke Wilhelm IV of Saxe-Weimar . The purpose of the order was the duty of mutual assistance, protection of honor and freedom from captivity.

After the peace agreement with Saxony on May 10, 1632, the order expired.
