The Adam Ries University of Applied Sciences (since September 2013 IUBH dual studies ) was a state-recognized, private university of applied sciences . The first students were admitted on October 1, 2008. The university of applied sciences offered five bachelor's degree programs with a dual study model. Since September 1, 2013, the Adam Ries University of Applied Sciences has merged into the International University of Bad Honnef Bonn . The range of courses is now offered under the name "IUBH Duales Studium" by the International University of Bad Honnef Bonn , which moved its headquarters to the former Adam Ries University of Applied Sciences in Erfurt in 2019.

History and organization

The University of Applied Sciences was initiated in 2007. On May 7, 2008, it was officially recognized. The name giver and model of the technical college for Thuringia was the arithmetic master Adam Ries , who founded an arithmetic school in Erfurt in 1518. At the beginning of the 2011/2012 winter semester, Düsseldorf and Munich were added to the first place of study in Erfurt. In 2013 the Adam Ries University of Applied Sciences merged with the International University of Bad Honnef • Bonn (IUBH) and is now called IUBH Dual Studies.
