Orfall

Orfall is a desert near today's Erfurt district of Alach in Thuringia . It was one between today Erfurt districts Töttelstedt and Tiefenthal lying allodial of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mainz . There was a chapel of St. Georgii there. Orfall was mentioned as Urvallum in 1130. Other variants of the name are Orphal , Orvelle, Orphan and Orbell.
