Muammer Zülfikar Yıldırım (born September 14, 1990 in Eğil ) is a Turkish football goalkeeper .

Career

society

Yıldırım started playing club football as a 13-year-old in the youth of the Turkish amateur club Ankara Esnafspor and in 2006 moved to the youth department of Türk Telekomspor . Here he was awarded a professional contract in 2007, but continued to play for the club's reserve youth team for a year. Only on the last day of the 2007/08 season he was used in the third division game against Yeni Kırşehirspor and made his professional debut with this use. For the second half of the 2009/10 season he was loaned to amateur club Torbalıspor , but was not used here until the end of the season. In summer 2010 he returned to Telekomspor and was used six times in league games in the 2010/11 season.

For the 2011/12 season he moved to fourth division Belediye Vanspor . At this club he quickly established himself as a regular player and kept this position for the next two seasons.

He was committed to the 2013/14 season by second division club Mersin İdman Yurdu . With this club he ended the second division season 2013/14 as a play-off winner and thus rose to the Süper Lig . Yıldırım himself was only used in one league game this season and otherwise remained the third goalkeeper in the squad.

For the 2016/17 season he and his two teammates Préjuce Nakoulma and Welliton were signed by the first division club Kayserispor . Here he played for the next three seasons and then moved to league and provincial rivals Sivasspor .

National team

In March 2016, Yıldırım was nominated for the first time in his career by national coach Fatih Terim in two test matches for the Turkish national team .
