Caner Osmanpaşa (born January 15, 1988 in Trabzon ) is a Turkish football player who plays for Sivasspor .

Career

Osmanpaşa started with club football in the youth of Çağlayanspor and moved to the third division Akçaabat Sebatspor in September 2008 with a professional contract .

After playing for Sebatspor for two years, he moved to the second division club Orduspor in the summer of 2010 . With this club he rose to the end of the season as the play-off winner of the TFF 1st Lig in the Süper Lig . Osmanpaşa only came to three league appearances during this season and was more of a supplementary player. He stayed in the team after the success, but only came on for the reserve team.

In spring 2012 he left Orduspor and switched to Denizlispor . Here he only played until the end of the season and then moved within the league to promoted 1461 Trabzon .

After his coach Mustafa Reşit Akçay was introduced as the new head coach at the parent club Trabzonspor in the summer of 2013, this prompted Osmanpaşa to change to this club a little later.

For the 2014/15 season he was loaned to league rivals Kayseri Erciyesspor . In the summer of 2015, he and his teammate Abdulkadir Özdemir moved to the first division club Akhisar Belediyespor . At this club he quickly advanced to become a regular and important player. With 128 first division appearances, he is the player with the second most appearances in the club's history after Güray Vural . He was an important part of the team that achieved the most important successes in the club's history by winning the Turkish Cup in the 2017/18 season , the Turkish Supercup 2018 and the cup final in 2018/19 .

After relegation with Akhisarspor in the summer of 2019, he moved to the first division club Sivasspor
