Ziya Erdal (born January 5, 1988 in Zara , Sivas ) is a Turkish football player who plays for Sivasspor .

Career

Ziya Erdal began playing football in the youth of his local Yamanspor club. From here he moved to the Sivasspor youth team in 2006. In 2006 he received a professional contract from his club and was promoted to the professional team. Here he stayed for half a season without being used. In order to collect match practice he was loaned to third division club Kırşehirspor in the 2008/09 season. At Kırşehirspor he was not a regular player, but came to regular appearances. In 2009/10 he moved to the fourth division 'Anadolu Üsküdar' on a free transfer. Anadolu Üsküdar has a close cooperation with Sivasspor and thus enables Sivasspor players to gain match practice.

After a season with Anadolu Üsküdar, he returned to Sivasspor. Here he came under the new coach Rıza Çalımbay regularly to missions and was even nominated for the second team of the Turkish national team . In the 2011/12 season he finally won a regular place.

National team

Although Erdal previously did not appear for any of the Turkish junior national teams, he was nominated for the second selection of the Turkish national team in 2011 . So far it has been used four times for the Turkish A2.
