Mert Hakan Yandaş (born August 19, 1994 in Osmangazi in the Bursa province ) is a Turkish football player who has been under contract with Fenerbahçe Istanbul since August 2020 .

Player career

Yandaş started club soccer in 2006 in the youth department of Bursa Güven SK . In 2011 he moved to city rivals Oyak Renault SK , a farm team from Bursaspor . In October 2012, he received a professional contract and was accepted into the first team. By the end of the season he had played 17 league games for the fourth division and scored one goal.

For the 2013/14 season he moved with his teammate Erce Kardeşler to the third division Altınordu Izmir . With this club Yandaş was third division champions at the end of the season and rose to the TFF 1st Lig . For the 2014/15 season he was loaned to the fourth division team Tire 1922 Spor and given to them after one season. After two years at Tire, Yandaş moved to third division club Menemen Belediyespor at the end of August 2016 and played 35 games, from league and playoff games, and scored twelve goals.

For the 2017/18 season he moved to the first division club Sivasspor . Yandaş played in three seasons for the red-whites 72 competitive games, from league and cup games, and scored 13 goals. His most successful season at Sivas was the last one ( 2019/20 ) with ten goals scored in 35 competitive appearances, where he was one of the most noticeable football players in the league thanks to his long-range goals. Furthermore, Yandaş became winter champions with Sivasspor and thus temporarily rose to the championship aspirations, at the end of the season it was enough for fourth place and direct qualification for the UEFA Europa League .

After the end of his contract with Sivasspor, Yandaş moved to league rivals Fenerbahçe Istanbul in August 2020 for the 2020/21 season .
