Sadık Çiftpınar (born January 1, 1993 in Seyhan , Turkey) is a Turkish football player who has been under contract with Fenerbahçe Istanbul since January 2019 .

Career

Çiftpınar was born in Seyhan , a district and also a district of the southern Turkish city ​​of Adana . Here he began with club football in the youth of Seyhan Belediyespor and moved to Istanbul in 2009 in the youth department of Galatasaray Istanbul . Professional career

The 20-year-old Çiftpınar started his professional career in the summer of 2013 with the Turkish fourth division club Trabzon Akçaabat FK . He played one and a half seasons for this Trabzon provincial club and moved on to Turkish third division club Yeni Malatyaspor in the 2014/15 winter transfer period , where his then U-20 national coach Feyyaz Uçar was active. Under coach Uçar, Çiftpınar acted as a right full-back . With this club he became third division champion at the end of the season and thus achieved promotion to the TFF 1st Lig . In the following seasons among other coaches Çiftpınar played in defense as a central defender . Under coach İrfan Buz, he increased his footballing performance and became one of the team's most important players. This was followed by the Çiftpınar as team captain. The defender made 115 competitive appearances in four years for Yeni Malatyaspor and scored two goals.

In January 2019, the 26-year-old Çiftpınar was transferred to the Turkish first division club and traditional club Fenerbahçe Istanbul and in return Yiğithan Güveli and Barış Alıcı (loan base) moved to Yeni Malatyaspor.

National team

From 2009 to 2013, Çiftpınar played in the Turkish youth national teams from U-17 to U-20, played a total of 21 games and scored two goals.

He started his national team career in December 2009 with two appearances and one goal for the Turkish U-17 national team . As part of the U-20 World Cup in 2013 , Çiftpınar was appointed by the U-20 national coach Feyyaz Uçar in the tournament line-up of the Turkish U-20 national team. Where he reached the second round with the team and was eliminated against the eventual winners of the French U-20s.
