Barış Alıcı (born June 24, 1997 in Bornova in the province of Izmir ) is a Turkish football player who has been under contract with Fenerbahçe Istanbul since July 2018 and is currently on loan to KVC Westerlo . He is the twin brother of Kerim Alıcı .

Career

Alıcı was born in Bornova , a district and also a district of the western Turkish city ​​of Izmir . Club football began here in Bergama Gençlerbirliği's youth and then played for the youth departments of Bucaspor and Altınordu İzmir .

In the second half of the 2014/15 season he received a professional contract with the latter, but continued to play for the reserve team (Altinordu Izmir U21). Alıcı made his competitive debut for the professional team in the Turkish Cup on January 28, 2015 against fourth division club Bayburt Özel İdarespor at the age of 17, and later in the league game on December 27, 2015 against Karşıyaka SK , he made his professional league debut in the TFF at the age of 18 1.
