Ferdi Erenay Kadioglu (* 7. October 1999 in Arnhem ) is a Dutch footballer of Turkish descent, who since July 2018 at Fenerbahce is under contract. He is also a young Dutch national player.
Career
society
Ferdi Kadioglu, son of a Turkish father and a Dutch mother who was born in Canada , started playing football at AZ 2000 . Via ESA Rijkerswoerd , he switched to the NEC's junior academy, which merged with the FC Oss academy in 2009 .
In July 2016, the 16-year-old Kadioglu received his first professional football contract from the Nijmegen until summer 2019, which has played for NEC since the E-youth. After a use for the reserve team of NEC Kadioglu announced on 28 August 2016 at the age of 16 years at the league match of the Eredivisie season 2016/17 in the away game against Alkmaar Zaanstreek as a substitute his pro debut, which he with 16 years and 326 days the youngest Eredivisie -Liga debutants in the NEC Nijmegen club history. Later in October 2016, Kadioglu celebrated his professional premiere as Joker by equalizing with his league goal against FC Utrecht to the final score 1: 1 and thus at the age of 17 years and 23 days became the youngest professional shooter of the Nijmegen. This season Kadioglu was used regularly and rose to the end of the season with the club from Nijmegen in the second division .
Also in the second division, Eerste Divisie , he was regularly used and he missed direct promotion with his club in the (promotion) relegation . Kadioglu played 70 competitive games in two seasons for the professional NEC Nijmegen team, scoring twelve goals and preparing 16 goals .
In July 2018, at the age of 18, Kadioglu moved to Turkey to Fenerbahçe Istanbul for a transfer fee of 1.4 million euros and signed a four-year contract there.
National team
Kadioglu played two games for the Dutch U16 national team and took part with the U17 in the 2016 U17 European Championship in Azerbaijan . At the European Championship finals, Kadioglu made five appearances and reached the semi-finals with the U17 national team, in which they lost to the later U17 European champions Portugal . For this age group he made 13 games. He then played three games for the Dutch U18 team and took part in the 2017 U19 European Championship in Georgia with the U19s . Kadioglu played in this tournament in four games and was eliminated with the U19 selection in the semi-finals against Portugal . For this age group he came to 16 appearances (six goals).
On May 25, 2018, Kadioglu made his debut for the Dutch U21 national team in a 4-1 friendly win against Bolivia in Santa Cruz de la Sierra .
