content

The land of Hi no Moto was conquered many years ago by the Oni , who have ruled the people ever since. The warriors of men were defeated and driven out by them. They now live as outsiders in the wilderness while many other people get used to the Oni rule. Over time, the Oni are even worshiped as gods and liberators by the warriors. But the children Musashi and Kojiro Kanemaki know from ancient scriptures how the Oni subjugated people and enslaved them. In the game, they train for battle to drive out the Oni as adults. At the age of 15, Musashi became a miner's apprentice to train his body at work and secretly also his martial arts. Kojiro, on the other hand, has become lazy and has given up the fight. When Musashi then becomes a full-fledged miner and he is led into the depths of the mine, he sees the miners working here as slaves for the Oni. But his gun was taken from him and he is helpless. Only when Kojiro hurries after him and brings his weapon, Musashi can defeat the oni of the mine and both begin their fight to liberate humanity.
