Orient Express in Worlds of Fun ( Kansas City , Missouri , USA ) was a steel roller coaster model of the Custom Looping Coaster manufactured by Arrow Dynamics , which opened on April 4, 1980. On October 26, 2003, she made her last laps.

The Orient Express route was between the two entrances to the park. It was the second roller coaster with interlocking loops after Loch Ness Monster in Busch Gardens Europe . Loch Ness Monster is now the only roller coaster in the world with interlocking loops.

Orient Express was the first roller coaster with an element called the Kamikazee Curve , which was later renamed from Arrow to Boomerang (or Batwing ).

Trains

Orient Express had three trains with seven cars each. Four people (two rows of two people) could sit in each car. The passengers had to be at least 1.22 m tall to be allowed to ride. Shoulder straps were used as a restraint system.
