Oriente music

Oriente Musik is a German record label from Berlin with a focus on world music .

It was founded in 1994 by Brigitte Backes, Reiner Jordan and Till Schumann. Artists from all over the world and different styles of music are published, including Europe, Latin America, Orient with Tango , Klezmer . According to the company, "market strategy considerations" are of secondary importance for the label. The program includes current productions as well as new releases of older recordings, which have been made accessible again.
