Orotina

Orotina is a small town in the Central American state of Costa Rica and is located in the province of Alajuela . Orotina is also the capital of the province of the same name. The region has an area of ​​19.99 square kilometers and a population of 8550 people.

The city is located 229 meters above sea level in a relatively flat area of ​​the coastal mountains of Costa Rica. The city is located 26 kilometers from the Pacific, 48 kilometers southwest of Alajuela and 66 kilometers from the capital, San Jose .
