Orth is a German death metal band from Berlin .

history

Orth was founded in 1989 by guitarist Hannes in Berlin. A year after the band was founded, the first demo Psychotic was released, followed in 1992 by Blast of Silence .

In 1994 Orth recorded the single Leichenschmaus with producer Harris Johns. The first concerts outside of Germany followed.

A year later, Johns also produced the debut album Ano Kato (with members not named above, except Hannes), which the band released themselves despite offers from the record industry. Orth recorded the second album Feed The Flames in June 2000. It was released by Morbid Records . The band then toured across Europe with Dying Fetus and Six Feet Under . Since then it has been quiet around the band. After a few line-up changes, they worked on the third album Godmode , which was to be released again in 2011 under their own direction. After disputes with the drummer Tyronne Silva, the band broke up. Guitarist Brian founded the band Bloodbeat in 2014 with his son Jason Kuhn.
