The local chapel Altenmarkt im Thale is located in the Breitangerdorf Altenmarkt im Thale in the municipality of Hollabrunn in the Hollabrunn district in Lower Austria . The Roman Catholic local chapel of the parish church Eggendorf im Thale , consecrated to the Apostle Bartholomew , belongs to the Hollabrunn deanery in the Archdiocese of Vienna . The chapel is under monument protection ( list entry ).

history

The chapel was built in the late 18th and first half of the 19th century.

architecture

The simple chapel building under a gable roof with a round end has flat arched windows and a rectangular portal. The tower with arched sound windows wears an onion helmet. The northern extension of the sacristy has a flat roof.

The interior of the chapel has a barrel vault with stitch caps.

Furnishing

The altar shows the altarpiece Coronation of Mary from the construction period.
