Eulenbach local chapel
The local chapel Eulenbach stands at the northern end of the Angers in the village of Eulenbach in the market town of Vitis in the Waidhofen an der Thaya district in Lower Austria . The Roman Catholic local chapel, consecrated to St. Anne , belongs to the dean's office in Waidhofen an der Thaya in the diocese of St. Pölten . The chapel is under monument protection ( list entry ).
history
The chapel was built in 1734/1735 and renovated in 1888.
architecture
The baroque church building with a recessed, rounded choir in the north has small arched windows. The facade tower presented with a pointed arch portal has a pointed gable helmet from the late 19th century.
The interior of the chapel shows a nave under a grooved flat ceiling and a choir under a needle cap barrel.
Furnishing
The baroque aedical altar from around 1700 bears the figures of Katharina and Barbara on the side and shows the altar sheet, Teaching Mary .
There is a gothic carved figure Pietà around 1400, later almost almost.
