Local law
The local law (also: municipal law, municipal law, municipal law) is the right of a local government , certain community-specific statutes and regulations to adopt. Local law is the product of local self-government . The collection of the respective statutes and ordinances of a municipality is also called local law .
The possibilities in Germany are based on the municipal code and special regulations such as B. the road and right of way or the state criminal and ordinance law.
Some statutes also contain fines .

The statutes are discussed and adopted in the local parliament ( local council , city council , district council ).
