AB Oruva was a company in the Mažeikiai district , Lithuania . In addition to compressors , diesel engines and thermal protection relays were manufactured. The former compressor factory became insolvent.
history
The factory was established in 1965 in the Soviet Union ( Soviet Lithuania ) to manufacture the compressors. On December 29, 1990, the company became Mažeikių valstybinė įmonė "Oruva". From March 26, 1994 to March 31, 2005 there was Akcinė bendrovė "Oruva". The state enterprise was privatized. Oruva worked with the German group Deutz AG . In 2000 there were 1,569 employees at AB Oruva. The company went bankrupt.
